Requirements 🎯

Knowledge

Broad knowledge and minimum 5 years’ experience in the following.

• Manage implementation and consulting projects, planning, scheduling, and implementing our web solutions

• Manage, escalate, and drive satisfactory resolution of clients operational issues

• Proactively drive security and operational best practices and various other initiatives.

• Own the customer technical engagement. Meet regularly with customer leadership and operational teams

• Design network topology

• Deploy, provision and integrate software & hardware based routers and firewalls.

• Liaise with 3rd Parties such as Datacenters, ISP’s and Vendors.

• Work closely with Procurement for purchasing and support renewals of networking hardware.

• Perform capacity planning and maintain monitoring to ensure sufficient resources are always available.

• Training and Development of IT Support team to reduce daily workload to ensure more time is spent focusing on proactive design and research.

• Create and maintain network design documentation.

• Proactively improve infrastructure, reducing operational costs and complexities.
• Implement Cloud connectivity and associated Security solutions 

Essential Criteria

• Solid knowledge of Cisco LAN, WAN and Data Center technologies

• Knowledge of both MPLS & SDWAN

• Solid Experience with network security on Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco

• Thorough understanding of Layer2 and Layer3 networks with protocols such as VLAN, Spanning-Tree, MACSec, LACP, VRRP, HSRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, NAT, Policy-Based Routing, SSLVPN.

• Advanced knowledge of dynamic routing, high availability, redundancy, and interoperability between different vendors.
• A good understanding on Cloud connectivity solutions. 

• A detailed working knowledge of the following security infrastructure devices, Palo Alto and FortiGate

• Good understanding of ITIL / Service Management

• A vendor certification such as, CCNP, PCNSE, NSE4 or equivalent qualification.
