The position:
MSP - Technical Consultant
Overview of the role:
The MSP Consultant provides second-line technical support within the Managed Services team, taking ownership of escalated incidents and delivering deeper technical troubleshooting across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint and hybrid infrastructure environments.
This position has a strong Azure focus and is suited to an experienced support engineer who can independently investigate complex incidents, administer cloud services, mentor MSP Engineers and contribute to the continued development of the MSP's Azure capability.
About you:
You are an analytical and technically capable problem solver who takes ownership of incidents rather than simply progressing tickets through the escalation chain. You are comfortable working independently across Azure and Microsoft cloud environments and understand how identity, networking, endpoints and cloud services interact.
You communicate technical findings clearly to customers and colleagues, remain composed during high-impact incidents and recognise that being an MSP Consultant also involves developing others. You share knowledge, guide MSP Engineers and actively contribute towards improving the overall technical capability of the MSP team.

· Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN and general network connectivity issues.
· Investigate firewall and routing-related incidents within the defined support scope.

· Use Event Viewer, PowerShell, and platform diagnostic tools for technical investigation.
Mentorship, Documentation & Improvement
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to MSP Engineers.
